A Flair for the dramatics

As I wake up to watch my boys in red in hopes that they take over the top spot from the bad guys from Liverpool I was a bit nervous.

Rooney is the heart and soul of this team and now Rio and Evra were missing a well. Evans, Vidic, Neville and O’Shea are not my ideal back 4 but against Bolton should be good enough.

As the game wore on and Bolton playing 10 behind the ball at all times I started to think about what Wenger said after struggling against Bolton “the premiership is not what it used to be”. Nobody really tried to beat the big 4 anymore and they are solely playing not to won but not to get “relagated” and I can’t really blame them.

While the Manchester Utd game was on I kept the other eye on the Chelsea match as they were struggling with Stoke and Villa struggled with Sunderlund. However that is part of the challenge isn’t it? Figure out how to make them pay for their tactics. Eventually Man Utd broke through in the 90th minute after a great Tevez run and quality Berbatov header and of course Chelsea found a way to finish off Stoke in the 3rd minute of extra time. Villa found a way to won and heck even Arsenal found a way to open up a tied march with Hull in the final 10 minutes of the match. The point is they are finding ways to win an beating the packed box mentality which in the long run will only be good for the game.

Now only if Everton can make something happen against the bad guys from Liverpool on Monday!!!!
